I used to have a former Chicago Checker Cab, but that was more because 1900 bucks for a 2003 Crown Vic was a steal in 2008 lol

Looked just like this, but I at least took the decals off. I was going to paint it back to its factory maroon color, but ended up selling it.

Figure it this way, when you pull up in a normal car nobody takes notice. Pull up in a limo and everybody notices.
Pull up in a cab and everyone wants you to take them to the airport.

A few days ago, my Lady and I were having a conversation about how the neighborhoods in which we grew up have changed for the worse. The Ghettofication/Trashification of Society has brought bad neighborhoods everywhere. It's sad to see the Mayberries of America disappear.

Used to drive a Corvette, got looks but it rode like a lumber wagon and wasn't comfortable. Get just as many looks, if not more, in my Caddy and can be in the lap of luxury and seat six, not including the 8-person trunk.

You'd get "looks" in a Brush Runabout or an Orient. Heck, I get 'em in my flivver! Oddly enough, when I attend the occasional car show that little flivver
tends to attract more gawkers then many finer cars or much more interesting street rods.

An older neighborhood (homes built around 1940) but not the ghetto but closer to ghetto people than would be my liking which is a million miles away at the closest. Fortunately, my neighbors are good people.
