I've only ever been impressed once by a guy revving his engine: in Niagara Falls, a couple of young guys rode down the strip in a shiny black '55 or '56 Plymouth. I was dressed up like a Rockabilly girl, so of course I stuck out to them. They winked at me and revved the engine... Gosh, did that sound good. I recall grinning wickedly in return.
The rest of the time, it's some putz in his little 4 cylinder low-riding Honda. My lawnmower is more impressive. I always get a good laugh, though, when they're driving a standard and they roll the car backward about half a metre when accelerating from a stop.
On all but one of my cars or trucks, I have a "ahooga horn" I love it, sort of lets those walking down the sidewalk, they are being "observed", and it is great to blast at those older ladies with the blue hair that have fallen alseep behind the wheel at a red light or stop sign! And when I am in a very particularly evil and wicked mood, I may pull up along side of the elderly blue haired ladies and shout out, "Bingo"...at times I think they are gonna get so excited they may pi....well erm, tinkle in their bloomers! (It is noted, I am respectful to older people, but just cannot help myself at times)....lolol hahahahah!
