Dear Loungers - Anyone holding on to an extra pair of these matching 1930's era side adjuster buckles and is willing to part with them please let me know...ive been searching high and low for almost a year. The Japanese are repro'ing everything (almost) under the sun including buttons/zippers/fabrics but apparently no one has yet thought of doing these side adjuster buckles (outside of the ghastly cheapo's from China) that are so crucial to jackets of the 30's-40's.
Ive even tried contacting the usual suspects in the repro marketplace like Real McCoy/Mister Freedom/Buzz Rickson etc to see if they would part with a few buckles but its as if this particular items is held up as "state secret". YES they do have ample supply of it because they do use it on their jackets, but mumms the word!
Any advice cheerfully accepted.
