Well you honestly haven't won quite yet until the final votes are tallied, but I think we can comfortably say that you will run away with this award hands down! You get my vote for sure!

I would also like to nominate Joao for best western hats. Terry and Jack have some great ones too so this is going to be a tough category!

I too need to ponder on the remainder of the categories. There are so many great hats on this forum.

OK, having just spent 30 min on the elliptical cogitating, and being a control freak, I'm going to volunteer to keep track of the categories and nominees. We can hold a vote open from Christmas to New Year's Eve.

I propose we split Hatter of the year into
Hatter of the Year: My nomination is for Gus Miller of Batsakes (or should they be a listed vendor?)
Best up and coming hatter of the year: Michael Gannon, Tim at AlleyKatHats, and Esther

Best hat Restorer (amateur): Moe
Best Hat Restorer (journeyman): Bond (Scott)
Ribbon Treatment of the Year: Moe's 20s Marathon
