I like a bigger brim, around 2.5 to 3 inches. On ebay, what makes of hats should I be looking for. Any to stay away from? There is a hat shop in Gettysburg, he makes historic hats and I need to see if he can clean and refurbish an old hat before I buy one.

I used to very much dislike the "Gay Prince" stitching. Now I bought this hat because it is a Stetson that has it. I used to dislike heathered hats, peluche, Homburgs, and caps, and tall, straight crowns.

Just bought this Hufvud Indiana Jones look-alike for $140.
It looks a little reddish in the pics, but the bottom of the brim looks brown.
The seller says it's 30X beaver...
The sweatband reads beaver too.
I didn't want to buy a cheap rabbit Indy, so I waited for a beaver fur felt. At least, it's part beaver. [emoji2]
Ignacio should downsize it to my head nicely.

I went home at $220, in the last 2 minutes. I was well past the point that winning wouldn't have been much fun when I told my wife.

The seller didn't seem to know what they had. I thought I did, but am new enough at this to not fully trust my judgement.
I knew a Boss was valuable, but not how valuable, so didnt even know when the smart time to exit was hat-wise, though wife-wise I knew enough.
