Nice one Michael. I'm sure you have a room full of hats that some of us would like to see more often.
I agree, HJ and if I didn't already have two #1's, he might not have that one to show off.

Just remember the song lyrics:I agree, HJ and if I didn't already have two #1's, he might not have that one to show off.

Can you share the Kleinhans mark?
Excellent Michael.Stetson No.1 Quality ...

Dug through the Marathon thread and found a few others almost identical.
Aaaaaaaargh!
I just lost out on a Cavanagh. It was going to be my first vintage hat.
Granted it was my fault for not setting a higher bid when I knew I should have, but it was painful seeing that higher bid tick in with 3 or 4 seconds left and not being able to fire off another bid before it hit zero.
If it was someone from here, I can only say congratulations, I truly hope it is going to a good home.

I'm casting a pretty wide net. I'm still pretty new to the game and haven't identified a specific style I gravitate to yet. I'm pretty much just looking at as many listings as I can and deciding on the spot if I find it appealing or not. What size hat do you wear? Any particular style you're looking for or casting a wide net?

EBay's search function isn't the best sometimes for narrowing down.
Based on the only hat I currently have, I wear a 7 1/2. I've got another hat coming tomorrow that will hopefully confirm that sizing as roughly correct
