Great finds Josh. You beat Lefty out of the Stetson Metal.
Very nice, Josh, and very, very rare. With its St. Paul, Minnesota roots and colorful history, the Gordon & Ferguson Co. is of particular interest to me. I recently found a beautiful '20s-'30s Gordon hat box from out of the woodwork here in Minnesota but have yet to stumble upon a Gordon fedora.

I had Thunderw21 buy this "golfing cap" for me as the shipping to the UK seemed excessive.
browsing the bay, I come across many listings from one seller and have to wonder-- has "theoutdoorteam" ever actually sold a hat?
Thanks very much, Al! Do you have pictures of the box? I would be really interested in seeing it. I first discovered the Gordon & Ferguson Co from Dinermans posts in the pre-1940's hat thread. His early long haired examples are just spectacular. The Gordon that I had was from the 30's, and based on the pictures, the one I will be receiving is from the 30's as well. I would really love to know more about the company because it appears that they made some very nice high quality hats.
Their prices are asinine. They have however purchased a hat from me once.

They sell quite a few hats. And their customers appear to be satisfied.

Probably to attempt a re-sell at double the price.
