That's a great graphic, Brad. Say, how do you know how many ads they made? Is there a book delineating them?
To identify them, I searched through the Saturday Evening Post at the library a while back.

John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. I am now only two ads away from having all 14 of the Anderson Knapp-Felt ads from 1929-1930. I feel like a kid collecting baseball cards. lol
Schoble Mirror
That's the second one of those I've seen, there was one up about this time last year, but with a dark wood surround.
Man oh man, did I get lucky. A 1920s cloche for only 30 bucks! I can't believe I got it so cheap. I was sure that the bidding would have went up to 100 or over:

Ms. Smoothie, you must be getting quite a collection of cloches!
Yes, I need to count the number that I have now. Slowly but surely building my collection.
That's a beauty for sure. He seems to be a good (very descriptive and open) and fair seller from what I have seen. He sure is getting rid of a bunch of nice lids. I would have paid what you did if it were a 7 3/8.Just "won" this last night. My first "vintage" hat. Did I pay too much? I don't know, but I do know it is the most magnificent looking hat I have ever seen.
Can't wait for it to show up!

That's true. There's even a pretty decent price jump from 7 1/4 to 7 3/8. I often buy the 7 1/4 hoping I can stretch them but it doesn't always work for me. That's one reason why I have been selling so many 7 1/4 hats (they are usually the one's I bought and couldn't get to work)Given current Stetson prices for Sovereigns & this is a nice mode edge Stetson Twenty Sovereign, I say you did well! Congrats.
If it was a 7 5/8, I don't think $247 would have been enough to win the auction...
