Just won this hat on ebay tonight. What do you guys think of it? Does anyone know about this brand or have one like this? Seems that it could be a nice dress-casual hat.

My kind of hat. I don't know its era of production, but it looks wearable out there today. Your hat is one reason I stay away from EBay most of the time--I'd probably wind up springing for a lot more hats than I can afford.

That it does!!!

I recently deleted all of my watched items and killed all of my searches... and then I come and start looking at this thread. Gotta resist the urge to click on the links to the bay, otherwise I see the suggested other listings... :eusa_doh:

Cheers,
Tom

I have a modern Panizza Bon Voyage which is quite nice. It has the same tags inside and the grosgrain band and was designed for travel. It came with a cloth bag. Yours appears to be of that type too. Not made by the original company(Cappellificio Falcus license now) and finishing standards and felt quality are lower but still better than most modern hats.

I didn't win this one. Apparently they wore other styles in Bad Homburg.[/QUOTE]

Wow - only $20 per hat!
