Dobbs Twenty?

There wasn't a lot of information to go on, and the photos aren't the best, so I admit I took a risk on this auction. Still, it looks like I might have won a Dobbs Twenty that needs a little reshaping but is otherwise in decent condition. (I should add that I have limited knowledge here and I'm going by the appearance of other Dobbs hats I've seen -- I may have it wrong, of course.)

I'll be away for a week, but Ill post photos of the actual item once it's in my hands.

On a slight whim got this British made Stetson Premier Bowler, not bad for £16 and my first bowler.

Any ideas on age? I'd put it at maybe late 60's.
With the Premier designation and keyhole shaped dark size tag late 1950's to earliest 1960's. I'll bet its from the 1959 brief derby revival.

Someone who I don't know, and who I can't find any evidence of ever doing business with, mailed me a hat. Clearly a mistake - it's a stingy with a moth track and isn't my size. Any you win this?

ebay Dunn & Co 58cm stingy

That's interesting. I was the only other - and losing - bidder on that one. You can see I didn't bid much!

Someone is missing their English lid!

When did Stetson move to the square hat boxes? 70s? I have a couple of oval ones from the 60's - drab grey ones and the quality of the carboard isn't what it was in the 50's and before.

Never seen a pink one before. Very nice - and so is the bowler!

I've got a few. Watch out for it disintegrating though(the sweatband).

If it's a decent felt body, it won't matter much - I ordered some nice leather sweatbands and need a practice hat.
