...I only joined awhile back when Buler was having a hat sale but alas arrived too late.
I still have lots of hats to sell. Keep watching the classifieds.

Hehe. Wait didn’t we just finish that discussion. LOL. But I yeah. I get that.Sometimes after he "modifies" them. Still sore about him tearing off the edge binding of a 1920s melton I sold him only to turn around a day later and sell it.
Still waiting for Bill to find that black heathered Longley
I found it and it has your name on it! You know I need some gentle reminders. There are a couple other ones you'll like.

Tremendous! You did quite well on that one. CongratulationsView attachment 263605 So I recently acquired this derby on the bay for a Jackson. A bit confusing because there was also a 1960’s size tags. My guess is due to the tags inside, the age sits squarely in the 1900-1920’s range. Can anyone here narrow that down . It’s for the most part a solid hat that really doesn’t look worn, however there are some small dents and a line or two that looks like it is a tear, but isn’t. The ribbon has a light bit of shining on some of the edges as well. Not in the photos is a frayed bow and the iron cross ventilation on the top. Not much of a derby person but have a soft spot for WA hats. Oh and the Spokane store “Fogelquist Clo. Co. opened in 1908.

I have a similar Stetson with the 1900 Grand Prize Paris embossment on the sweatband. It also has a "snowflake" set of aeration holes in the top of the crown.View attachment 263609 View attachment 263611 View attachment 263612 View attachment 263617 View attachment 263618 View attachment 263613 View attachment 263605 So I recently acquired this derby on the bay for a Jackson. If it is LOT 1538, what would that show?If you can photograph it safely, would like to see the LOTXXXX number imprinted on the reverse side of the sweat in the front of the hat.
