I suppose it’s somewhat being a fairly new collector, the past few months had me looking through older listings as well. Now I’m ‘caught up’ so I know I can just look at what’s newly listed. Also there really does not seem to be much in my size at the moment. Not something that I’m concerned about was just an observation. I have much faith the beautiful lids will return. Besides I have been busy planning my Gannon custom [emoji846]

Picclick might be the way to go in a masochistic moment.
It usually works for me.
Didn't you always want a silk stovepipe?
(be careful. Autocomplete can make you look much more inebriated th a n you are).

Did anyone else see the 7 1/9 Youngs listing?
Rare!
I recon so.
There was an ever elusive 6-5/3 a couple months ago. Those improper fractions hats are ultra rare.

Feeling a little green.
Should be coming out of the freezer later today. A bit more tan than I anticipated but still a wonderful hat.

Lying to oneself always works for me.

I have this song stuck in my head, like a continuous tape loop!

My wife is a huge Billy Joel fan. Me, not so much.
The DJ in my head often seems to be on someone else's payroll though.

I still have traumatic memories of skiing moguls all day to the BeeGees in 1975 because it was the last thing I heard on AM as I buckled my boots.

Now that’s a very nice hat Brent. Not seen that often. Very nice felt and amenable to whatever form you like. I have that in an OR. I think i would like the Mode Edge much better. Sweet!

Thanks, B. I negotiated with him for quite a while before we came to an agreement. It’s not going to keep its cattleman’s crease...any guess as to it’s age?

Looks exactly like mine. Same size tag and labels. Mine is stars and stars and i think so is your’s. I’ll go mid 50s. Others can fine tune that.
Super hat. AND YOUR SIZE!! Yeah, Brent!!

The seller said it was “1930s to 1950s” so I guess he was right. I’m also a big fan of the Cavanagh edge by any name. I just wish 7 3/4 hats were as common as 6 3/4. :)
