Darn Doc....that’s an old one and fine looking!
I can think of 3 others you already have, one being the Vagabond King.
You are the King of the Vagabonds!!
B
I have a brown Vagabond King, a brown regular Vagabond, a gray, a black, and now this beige.

I saw that Eric posted a green Vagabond once, and I was consumed by envy.

I always heard by midweek it was prickly as a pony's nose.

Another Stetson Number 1 Quality

The seller had it on eBay with a starting price of $650. I offered less and the seller accepted.

A mystery hat, and I was the only person to bid on it. If it’s not my size I’m sure I can find it a good home.

I’ve never seen this Knox before. If anyone has any information I’d love to hear what you know of them. Thanks in advance.

I don't know anything about it, but I like it.

You are at the point of human evolution that I aspire to reach.
Currently, I'm stuck in the "Vengeful Spartan Soldier" era...
I understand, fully, what you mean though!!
One day I'll have enough patience and maturity to wait out those kinds of deals.
Thank you...your explanation was a good reminder for me of where I need to get to.

*Focus Dm, focus...*
Took me a long time to get there. LOL

I like the poorly listed hats. Misspelling (Borsosilno), misidentified material (wool), and lousy first photos can result in the best deals.

Your Dobbs looks spectacular! I’d love to find one of that vintage. Can’t wait to see your photos and review.

Yep. I have gained some nice fur felt hats listed as wool. Good deals if you know what to look for is right.

I don't know if this will be a victory or defeat. I don't know the type of straw it is made of. Obviously from the Thoroughbred/ Beaver brand family. It looks to have been crushed from storage, but I hope to steam it out.

I like the looks of that, Dd, no matter what the material is. I like that shantung Stetson you picked up as well. I figure you live in about as good an area as any for any type straw.
