I just discovered this. At least on my set up (Macbook Pro / Safari), just drag and drop the image from your computer into the thread posting box. Choose "full size." DONE.

I gave it a try, got an error message "File is too big."

With Mac, you can reduce the file
which is too big by using the Preview app.
It's built-in to the system.

Open your image with Preview.
There's an edit menu .
Use the tool option to resize your image.

That's the problem. I don't have a Mac. I have an IBM clone running Windows.

determine if there's something
equivalent to Mac's Preview to
recommend to you.

After you drag and drop, you won't see the image .

You need to scroll down on the "reply box" and select either "THUMBNAIL" or "FULL IMAGE".
Note the mouse arrow is on the "FULL IMAGE".
That's what I selected to upload.

And below is the final result.
I used the "Preview" app. to add the word "TEST" in red before I uploaded the image.
