Eastmann Pinks

Does anyone own a pair of these? I'm looking at the picture linked to above and to my eye the originals appear to flare out more, starting from right below the waist band. The copies look like they may run straighter. Can anyone give some feedback based on owning a pair of Eastmann's or even originals?

Hi,
I have a pair of these.They go straight down. Very good quality.you'll have to tailor them a bit when you get them since they have all the same inseam lenght.In fact my whole AAF outfit comes from Eastman (expensive but first grade stuff).

Absolutely superb pair of trousers, very well made and have a excellent high waist and widely cut trouser leg.

Even for the price, they're a good buy!

Keep in mind also that officers' uniforms were private-purchased, not simply government issued. As such, there was A LOT of subtle (and not so subtle) variation in color, cut, etc. Perhaps some originals appear to "flare out" a bit more, but certainly there were many others that did not. The Eastman trousers are top notch.

"scuff reinforcement" according to the website

They're there to protect the cuff from wearing through. Extra fabric means a longer life.
