Score! I wasn't overly excited by them whwn they first came out, but now I love 'em. I think I 'd buy one of those before another A2 now.

I had my eye on one of these a year or so ago but was put off by being between sizes. Eastman is a bit weird with some sizes as well. I missed this or I would have bid on it too. But if it doesn’t fit I’ll give you what you paid for it….

I've always liked the Air Comfort too - I think I might have even posted a thread asking about them back in the dim dark days here. It's one of those jackets I forget about and then when I'm reminded think, "damn that's a nice jacket, wouldn't mind one of those"

I have two ELMC Californians, Walnut and Havana. They hang well with any of my jackets. They have a distinctive touch about them. I think I bid on a Comfort once. It was very nice. They just don't show up. Like Good Wear jackets, you see a fair amount of A-2 but very few civilian wear with Eastman. Looking forward to your pictures.

That’s right you do rarely see them for sale. Probably why I didn’t see this one going through eBay. I tend to check Aero and Eastman regularly but all you mostly see is A2s from Eastman and HWM from Aero. Plus a quite a few nice ones from Japan lately in too small a size for me. I’m still a bit surprised I didn’t see this one though it was on a ten day auction.

Looking forward to the pics here too, nearly purchased one from ELC on a visit but ended up with one of their A-1s due to the fact I had far too many heavy & intermediate weight jackets and not enough light. Fingers crossed you get an excellent fit
