An amazing suede jacket from the early 1930s. I'll post full measurements and further pictures this evening. It is named to a man called Williamson, and is dated "XMAS 193(X)" The (X) has been smudged but i think it's 1932. His first name is also unreadable. This has been written in pen on the suede on the inside. It has an amazing early Talon grommet zipper. It was sold by R. H. Macy & Co. and bears an early label. Lined in lovely checked brown tweed. Saddlebag (sort of) flapped patch pockets. It has some modifications (side belts and wrist belts removed) but they don't really detract. You'd never know the writ belts were there, for example, and all that remains of the side cinch belts are stitch holes. These modifications, of course, reduce the price. Bargain Basement £150 for the jacket.
Check it out. I would imagine this jacket was intended to be worn quite snug.
Chest: 22.75"-23"
Shoulders: 18.25"
Arms: 26"
Back Length: 26.75"
