E width versus EE width

Bruce Wayne

My Mail is Forwarded Here
I recently bought a pair of boots that were D width because E was not available. They are way too narrow. EE is available, however i did not order them because I was afraid they would be too wide. So my question is: How much wider is an EE width shoe/boot compared to an E width shoe/boot?

Thanx!!!

What you may find is that the EE is fine up front but, what most people don't know or don't think about is that the heel will be wider as well. A "D" width will have a "B" heel, an "E" will have a "C", etc. A sloppy heel, that is, a heel that slides around in a shoe is not good.
Welcome to modern day where every human is a D width don'tcha know.

In AE almost unnoticeable. Buy UK "F" fitting as well which is the same as US "E" fitting.

Thank you for the reply. Now, does anyone know a way to stretch the heel on the boots that I own a little wider?

I don't think you can.
