Driving gloves?

Not sure if there's athread for gloves in general...feel free to post it in there mods if there is.
I got these today at a fleamarket, not sure how old they are or even if they are driving gloves(but the palms are padded), they were unused and my size and at a fiver (UK) Icouldn't pass them over;

I know this is an old post, but cool gloves. They look like driver gloves to me, and a bargain to boot!
