Dressing a guy

Just a thought.... if you're breaking him into vintage in stages, might be worth seeing if he's open to the rockabilly thing. An awful lot of folks get into a casua rockabilly look first, which leads on to the more formal looks, and from there in many cases (including my own) towards 30s/40s styles also.

Maybe introduce him to a few TV shows or films where guys dress well and see what he likes.

I know its not era correct(and I'm not suggesting its the pinnacle of style), but I enjoy checking out the wardrobe gear in 'Nero Wolfe' for this reason.

Hello, I need advice on how to dress my guy. I dress somewhat vintage and I would like to get any advice on how I would create a simple, cheap outfit for my guy to wear if we were to go out. What few pieces would be essential for me to get for him?


Please excuse me if there is already a similar thread on the subject. I did look for one and could not find it.

Any man worth his salt, will dress himself.
