I'm not a collector, but I do have a small collection of vintage toys accumulated over the years. I too am a dollaholic. I do collect dolls.

Me too! I collect Barbies. Mainly from the 80's/90's however I do have some vintage ones also.

Mrs. Hawk is a Barbie collector. Which means I know more about Barbie than any man should. Once at trivia night at the local bar, the final question was "what is Barbie's last name". Of course, I knew it, and won the contest and a round beers. I've never heard the end of it.

:yo: Good man! That's pretty darn awesome in my opinion. Great that you won a round of beers not so great you still get grief about it lol

What is her last name then? Is it Mattel?

I have a sort of unofficial collection of games from the 1950's. It started with the Groucho Marx "You Bet Your Life" home version, and has been growing a bit from there. I have an original "Name That Tune" from the 50s in unused condition, as well as Jan Murray's "Charge Account", "Break the Bank", an exciting TV game, and "Two for the Money", America's most exciting television quiz game. Also a 1930s edition of "Touring", a popular Parker Bros. card game to this day.
I didn't start out with the intention of collecting all these games, but I just can't pass them up whenever I see them at my local antiques venues, they're just too cool.
