I hope you know that by putting this auction on BLAST that I will now have to bid that much higher to have a chance at winning. .......... I'm just saying ........ [huh]

Sorry about that, really.
I've had minimal interest here when posting hats for sale. Most of the time I have to list them on the bay anyway after a dreary silence, so I lean towards just avoiding the non-response and providing a link to the auction. (Twice, though, a certain Lounger stepped up with nice offers if i canceled the auction. Both times, the item hadn't been on very long, so I felt like I wasn't stiffing anyone by accepting. This hat is too big for him, dang it all, and it ain't black.)

Johnny, it's 7 3/4 by 6 1/4, measured past the stitches about a quarter inch. I can't speculate about it fitting you, I'm afraid. Maybe you can take similar measurements of hats that fit and compare.

This one is nice and 7 1/4 is my size. If you plan to sell something vintage (fedora) with a brim between 2 1/4 - 2 1/2 please let me know (all shades of grey, no black hats though).

What's wrong with putting one's own ebay hat here? Of course he knows you may have to bid more! In fact, I will be so bold as to venture he hopes you do. ;)

Darn! Too small! Sometimes I can wear a 7 1/4; but not this one.
You know, I have just ordered a hat stretcher and a block. I see hats all the time that are 7 1/4 and can't wear that size. I see hats like this one being sold now and wish it were my size.....maybe you should invest in a stretcher?
