Such a disappointment and a let down. Ohio knitting Mills knocked out all of those great cable knit t-shirts and novelty prints, and their relaunch as a brand is just Hipster-bait Mr. Rogers cardigans. The few 40's and 50's inspired sweaters they are offering have had the cut monkey-ed with, essentially killing the high & tight lines a vintage sweater should had. I really wish these guys had gone the Dehen route and just stuck with the classic cuts and designs.

I love the weave on these two, but the cut is horrendous.

Damn. And the prices are no excuse either. Only a few dollars cheaper than Dehen and far more than what I would spend on a not-perfect sweater.

Man, that is a bad cut... worse that most "normal" modern sweaters... Does it come with a PBR T-shirt?

Just made an image search to see what I missed... Damn, they were good. Short sweaters with long ribbeded trims, great pattern, zig zags! :eusa_doh:

PS: Ebay & etsy are empty. No old designs...

Even their knitting book is lacking, as the unique vintage designs have had their patterns "updated." You would have to be on crack to think that the the product on the left even remotely passes for the product on the right.

I can't say I'm disappointed per se, as I wouldn't have expected anyhting other than a ham-fisted 'modern' mess made out of any new product line. Then again, I live in Sydney, where you have a choice in shirts, for example, of slim-fitting spread collar shirts, or slim-fitting spread collar shirts, or, just for something (not) different, slim-fitting spread collar shirts. I'm saddened that another opportunity to do something right has been wasted, but no, not disppointed. :(
