Exactly! I suspect BK's Victory HH is closer to Shinki's weight than the lighter Liberty HH.

I have both Victory Hide and Shinki and find they are similar in weight. They also both have a "crispness" to them - and I assume it's the crispness that gives the hide those great accordion wrinkles in the sleeves.

Here are some close-ups of the jacket. I love the combination of the brass zippers and the tea-core leather. It's incredible!
It's a month now.
When you're looking at it from afar it looks black. You can only see the brown coming through when you take a closer look.
I love this jacket!

What's that -you have a car,TOO?! You have about as much wear showing, in one month, as I had on my seal jerky horsehide in one year! And I wear mine all the time, just like you. What I have noticed is that the topcoat is wearing off where the shoulder strap of the seatbelt rubs on it. So I have wear patterns going across my left shoulder, left upper chest, right midsection, right pocket and right hem. I thought about using some leather dye or shoe polish to hide them, but ended up accepting them as just being the marks of MY life. It's a constant struggle I have - trying to restrain myself from using dye or polish to keep my jacket looking new, and letting the wear show through. It's definitely got the look of having some history in it now. And the truth is... it really DOES have some history in it.
