Diamond Crowns?

My daily jobber is a stiff, wool felt diamond crown stingy. I loved the way it looks and searced locally for a fur felt version to no avail. I've ordered a Sinatra-esque stingy brim but would love to find a more durable diamond crown. Any suggestions on where to look?

Am I searching in vain? I have a feeling that the shape of the hat may require a stiff wool and not a softer fur felt.

Ortega, I can at least answer a portion of your question. The hat I am wearing in my avatar has a diamond shaped crown, and it is a very soft fur felt. As far as where to find one, I personally do not have a recommendation in regards to a store/site or brand. You may need to go the route of a custom made. Yeah, I've thought about going custom but I am putting off the expense of a custom until some tattoo projects are done. I dig the hat in your avatar, so I hold out hope of finding one or having one made around Christmas.

However, I think you're right. I should just have one made. I priced a custom one at Optimo, but it was a little more lettuce than I wanted. I was going to pick up a few lids in September for my birthday, so I think I'll swap out an Art Fawcett one of the others on my list! Ooooh, now I'm drooling!
