Denim Jackets - New or Vintage

Not about a denim jacket, but related to the wear of denim jackets... Don't want to do the double denim thing, so looking at other pant options.

Looking for some light to midweight chinos in an olive color, mid-rise, straight leg cut, ~$150 budget. I would be getting Burgus Plus 401-60's (https://www.okayamadenim.com/collections/burgus-plus/products/burgus-plus-chino-pants-olive) if they were available in a size 30, but can't find any. I like the details, but really I'm just trying to find the right fabric weight and color (can be more on the drab side), the right measurements, and a decent quality. Thanks in advance for your help.

I'll delete if this is too far off topic.

I'm debating whether to buy a big E 60's Levi's. I've got the IH. Do I really need another one?

No you don’t need another one. But we’ve all moved way past needs in relation to outerwear. Do you want it? Desire even?

Resistance is futile... :rolleyes::D

I always wanted such a stonegrey type III jacket and now, sale gives friendly prices, so I drove to department-store and grabbed the Levi's "Fegin"-colour.

As you can see, the build quality is excellent, first class, this time! This is definitely much above Levi's type III's average!

But:
It's not true to size. This is not and L, but absolutely the classic M, so it fits me very well! :)

Looks good! Interesting to see they're using thick leather patch again.

I finally moded the sleeve post of my latest type 3 left is modded right is before. Much cleaner. This jacket already
Has nicely angled down sleeve but since I buy it smaller than normal the shoulder is narrower than mine and the sleeve has to curve down around my shoulder, and that caused unsighty folds. Not as much pleat needed compared to my previous type 3 that has a T shaped sleeve but still make quite visible result

It was a bit pulled and unnatural at first then i wet it with spray bottle and wear it until dry to make it settles around the shoulder to make a nice round shoulder, like it much better now

It doesnt make the sleeve any shorter than before (which is already shortish i well aware to get a snug fit body) , its just my tshirt covering my watch and being longer than my real wrist.

I can't really tell what you mean but it fits fantastic either way! That's a really cool jacket.

Been wearing this trucker on and off for 10 months. Taylor Stitch Long Haul trucker, 13.75 oz. It has become as comfortable as a weighted blanket (edit: actually, its more appropriate to say that it has become as comfortable as a superhero cape).
