Thanks all:
This band is The Hotshot Drifters :)
The jeans I have on here are LC King "American Originals"--I like them a lot--a higher waisted jean similar to original Wranglers. (Hint, if you sign up for LC King's email list you will get a discount and they offer ongoing promos--some really good). I also wear Wrangler Cowboy Cut 13MWZ's, Wrangler 936DEN Slim Fit Cowboy Cut, and Levi 501's. All will fit over boots no problem.
PS: Making arrangements with the artist to purchase the painting!!

Good stuff. I have to see if I can "carry" the cuffs with some of my western boots. Have not tried that yet. Looks good on you, but I don't look like Sam Elliot ;)

Lol--He has a new movie coming out "The Hero"--looks to be right up my alley. I'm going to go and see if I have anyone approach me for an autograph :)

Down here in the Swamps of South Louisiana, I almost NEVER see rolled up jeans.
As for me at 74, I DO look a little pretentious if I roll them up so I actually buy jeans that have my correct pants length--30".
Or I buy the 32" for when I wear cowboy boots.

I also "adjust" the length as to how I feel it looks best but cuffing them to the INSIDE.
A nice clean look
I don't care for the "heavily stacked look" either where the stack makes you look "like socks on a rooster!"

I can't imagnie wearing jeans not cuffed, but I completely agree with you on the 'stacked' look (which, of course, back in the days when all jeans came in one length and ya rolled or not according to your height was the reason the cuffs look came about). IT's been fashionable in a lot of trousers here in the UK since, it seems, the late 90s. It's particularly hideous when done with bootleg jeans which them get walked on and end up with that awful looking, u-shaped worn out bit at the bsck hem.

I don't do it with all my pants, but I find it a nice way to show the selvedge on my jeans (ie: broadcast that I'm a cool kid)
