And, once again, life is stranger than fiction. Also, the lead story probably isn't as interesting as this little tidbit tossed in:

"...she had hidden her film monies in various hidden accounts under pseudonyms and failed to leave her son the account numbers or names before she died, so as one Daily Mail newspaper reporter said in effect “It’s too bad she didn’t leave him the car instead.”​

Tax avoidance? Hiding it from her husband? Just a secrecy bent personality? Something interesting - well beyond the car - was going on there.

Oh, and Diana Dors real name was Mary Fluck - you can't make this stuff up.

I'm picturing a fleet of 50 or so, all perfectly aligned in the company's parking lot. Then, in the morning, they all move out single file going straight, left and right at the factory gate. Wonderful.

The style reminds me of the Admiral showboat that was in St. Louis for many years. She has been scrapped now.
This picture also shows the arch being built behind her.
