I've never been caught in person on it (though friends have). I did look up my flat on Google Earth, and found it kinda creepy. They claim they anonymise individuals, but, eh....
NEVER trust Google maps; they get my front door address right, but say my (duplex) apartment and the cross-street it is on don't exist on the maps, yet show the address and facade in photos section. Yahoo gets it right. I have been working with the County E-map maker to get it corrected, but not yet; so that is a threat for emergency services, and even Time Warner cable who told my new tenant that the address doesn't exist (but they manage to bill successfully). Also, in directions here, they lead a driver out one exit (I-90) too far, then lead him back on city streets. Insane.
