dear new neighbor

first and foremost, I must beg forgiveness for trashing others' grammar mistakes then not proofreading my "letter" before making a mad dash for the door last night. I hang my head in shame

actually Animal Control did tell them they would take the dog if they didn't get it off my property. the "scare" didn't do any good because a week later, the dog was back on my property. next time, no warning. the dog will be taken

Animal Control in most areas will do their job when pushed. ;)
Yesterday I claimed back a bit of my property along my fence. My idiot neighbor has trees planted right next to the fence. Three full green waste cans later the trees are back where they belong and there is much more sunlight in my yard. I know the neighbor will have a heart attack when he notices. :p If you want trees, plant them on you own property and don't expect me to let them take over my yard if you don't.
Now the other neighbor at the back has two nice apple trees that I have trained branches to come over to my yard. ;) :p Junk trees I have no use for. ;)

Not to be a spoilsport, but I would make sure Animal Control won't put the dog down if they take it. Around here they do, and that's why I never reported my meth-dealing neighbor's dog.

Now the dealers themselves? I called about them day and night. ;)

I concur--I think you're almost there! You need to have a celebration once they're gone. Tarts for everyone!

that did occur to me, just because of the breed. I told the guy if he takes the dog that I hope she gets a good home. I've never come across a mean pit bull, and I did make friends with this one. I realize that's not normally the case with pit bulls though. this one, she's a good dog, I'd cry if they did put her down.

update: there are still some toys strewn about on their property (typical with kids, no problem), but all the garbage is cleaned up and I've not heard a sound from them :eusa_clap

It won't overrun my property while I am still here. Shaving the limbs right back to the trunk usually does the trick. :p
I wish they had the good sense to at least plant fruit trees along the fence instead of leaf-dropping useless poison berry trees.
