Celebrating 80 years since Nazi Germany’s unconditional surrender. What a day that must have been! Thank you! My parents would not have met if it hadn’t been for WWII. It seems that every family has a story about the Second World War. Not to mention that, after VE Day, Europe enjoyed the longest run of peace and prosperity that it has ever known. I think those of us who frequent the Fedora Lounge have a special place in our hearts for “the greatest generation”. I‘ve got Glenn Miller‘s American Patrol running through my head Today!
