Dating an east German NVA Greatcoat .. help needed.

Hello, I have a grey east german greatcoat that im trying to date. On the inside pocket it reads NVA L /1 1806 , 0 m48 . It is grey wool with 6 dimpled silver buttons and is double breasted. Any ideas, one of the chaps on AA said you may be able to help?
