Dark brown Schott 641 HH

Just came across this and was wondering what you guys thought of it.

I think it's nice that Schott offers a brown horse cafe racer at a decent price too compared to some of the other stuff out there. I've always been a fan of their Cafe racer. I like the 3 pockets, side buckles and full length wind flap.

What size pit to pit are you looking for in your cafe racer? 40-42 can be a bit of a spread.

Good point. Ideally 22" p2p and 19.5" shoulder fits very well.

That's really dark brown. Maybe closer to a dark seal?

Has anyone handled this veg dyed horsehide schott uses? I'm wondering how stiff it is, how it ages, water resistance, patina??? Thanks in advance

Schott Dark Brown 641 HH

Hi,

This is the same Dark brown Italian Horse that a few Manufacturers have started using, Not stiff at all, Nice grain, Lightens up with wear, We also did some artificial aging on one for a film we were contracted for. Same Dark brown Horse that Thedi uses and some other Jacket makers. We used vintage Nickel Hardware and #10 zippers.
