Nice homburg for sale http://aukro.cz/klobouk-stary-j-huckel-a-synove-novy-jicin-a-viden-i5912694168.html
Sorry I missed this one. I think it might be from right after WWII. The paper label doesn't have any company mark. I think this might be related to the VDKM, Výrobní Družstvo Kloboučníků A Modistek (Manufacturing Cooperative of Hatters and Milliners) .Anybody familiar with this maker? Bought it on Aukro for circa 15 USD. Clearly 30-40's made and NOS. It was quite pleasant surprise today.

Very nice. The Tonak/Huckel I bought in Italy is called on the paper label Akron Lux
I started from the label because in Italy I saw very different Tonak, some with their own trademark, others made for Cervo....and here it is in English language
The hat is in good to excellent conditions
Black medium felt with good peachy finish
Well finished with a white linen and the double trade mark Huckel and Tonak on the sweatband
The proportions are classic for EU production: brim are 6 cm. and crown is 11,5 cm.
Size is 61 cm or 8 US size, it is a little tight because it fit perfectly my 7 1/2 head
It seems a production from the 70' or later
I'd have clubbed them myself to get this hat!Shoot, it looked gray in the listing. Good get, Moe!
But don't you feel guilty about those baby seals that perished to make that hat?

No seals other than my seal of approval. Thanks for the date info!No seals involved. Just wild hare!
