My $78 hand-tooled wedges came today from masseys.com and they are really nice. All leather, well made, leather sole perfect for dancing! I got them in black, which I actually NEEDED, and when compared to Remix's $236 version - my wallet and I are both happy campers!

Thanks again for enabling, Bella Hell!

Inky, how does the fit and quality compare to Re-Mix? They look so much alike!

I bought the 11 because they had no 10 and they are just a teeny bit long on the left shoe (my foot is about half a size smaller on my left foot), which only means that my toes don't show in the peep toe as much, but they are fine in the heel. Though i wear a regular width, I do have some of what I call foot pudge and there is none with this shoe. Compared to my other remix shoes, I would say they really do seem the same.

I'm really happy with them and plan to wear them out Saturday night (not dancing, going to see The English Beat) and then again Sunday (dancing!), so I can give a better review then, but for the money and an all leather shoe, I think they were totally worth it, and I love wedges!

They are so cute, Inky.

And hurrah for loving wedges - my mom (not into vintage in the slightest) always makes fun of them and espadrilles, but I adore them.

I agree! I have a closet packed with wedges and am trying to get a full color range now (or that's my excuse---errr, reason!). I know I can wear them anywhere, and here in California i can wear then nearly year round. I wore some 3 inch baby-doll toe pumps on Saturday and thought I was gonna break my neck - I am waaaaay past my high-heel wearing days, bring on the wedges!

I love the way a lot of them dress up or dress down according to what you're wearing - the same shoes are summery sandals or a slightly dressy heel depending on what you wear them with. One of the more flexible classic looks, in my opinion.

I don't know if someone's posted this already, as I don't normally follow this thread, but Keds online is offering 25% off all of their wedge styles right now.

I just bought these from Dorothy Perkins in the UK, they have been naughty and copied the Mihara heel I thought they were ever so slightly fab!

FYI, for those interested, there are knock-offs of this same shoe available at payless in the US.

 Oh my goodness, I am going straight to payless after work!!!!

I mean, they're not the same material and the heel isn't the same, but the toe shape and front of the shoe do look the same.

This style of shoe is really popular in the UK at the moment. Most shops have this style in a variety of colours.

I know, they're everywhere. I think I must be the only person who doesn't like this style of shoe! lol
