Crown Royal, Cask 16

Hi all, Ive been away in Idaho (Mountain Home AFB) for the past two weeks and just got home. Wile there I had picked up a bottle of Crown Royal Cask 16. (Go figure, being Canadian, buying Canadian Rye in the states...) Regardless It cost me $72 US on sale from $95. My guess is it would be somewhere around the high $180+ Canadian so I couldn't pass up the opportunity. Besides, it was on base so no taxes. I wanted to buy a bottle of Special Reserve but they were all sold out when I came back later that evening.

What can anyone say about it? I also have a bottle of Glen Bretton I am saving for a VERY special occasion, For those who have had some, can anyone compare?

Have you tried it yet? I've got a bottle of Crown Royal XR tha tI bought a while ago but I'm waiting to open that one. Forty Creek Double Barrel is pretty good too.

Have not, waiting for an occasion. Perhaps my promotion would suffice. The Glen Breton is reserved for when ever I decide to get married.
