You piqued my interest Fly Boy and whilst having a shufti on the internet found this crowd who might have what you are after. From the pictures they seem sufficiently baggy and with the traditional shorter brims:

Excellent, I've just emailed them to ask about the brim size - Alas, many times on ebay I've encountered promising pictures only to find in subsequent images that they have baseball style brims!

Bit jealous myself, I've been seriously considering going back to play but with a baby on the way I'm not too sure how I'll be placed even for next season.

Had a rather interesting game yesterday - The other side's openers all but used bodyline bowling for the first six overs. The backs of my legs and my upper left thigh are smarting in five places, I took a hit to the glove, one on the handle, and one on the helmet, with a few more whizzing past my head (including some high no-balls delivered full toss). The jury's out really as to whether they were just poor at placing their bowling, they were very fast bowlers and it was slightly slippy. Scored quite a few boundaries just by nicking away at their barrage, they were bowling so close to various parts of my anatomy that pull shots weren't really an option. Their middle order bowlers were very slow and not much of a threat, but I wouldn't want to face against that sort of thing every weekend!

In terms of the quicks it does sound a bit as if it was a combination of bad length due in part to the pitch conditions and which was probably exacerbated by them wanting to be ultra-aggressive in an attempt to rattle your top order. If it was out of control with the high no balls I hope the umpire had a word with them, otherwise next thing you know you're dodging beamers.

Good work on keeping a cool head and using the pace to work the ball fine.

And good luck with that company with the baggy caps, hopefully the brims will measure up in more ways than one!

Got hold of an Albion baggy cap and I must say I'm delighted with it. Had a mixture of the sublime and the ridiculous yesterday. Took a nice scalp with a looping full-toss delivery that clean-bowled their lead batsman. Think I'll be getting more opportunity to bowl if I keep that sort of work up. Unfortunately I was also part of a bowler's hat-trick in the course of our innings. As a team we need to stop haemorrhaging wickets!

The "Empress of Blandings" of course is at the top with the motto "Risus Vestimenta Convivia" around crossed bats.

Excellent insignia sir, Lord Emsworth would be proud!
Although to be a trifle pedantic, an English team almost certainly wouldn't wear a baggy cap (they usually mock them) such attire is more for us colonials (especially the Aussies) to wear while teaching them some manners!

Thanks for the link. With the season about to start again and the weather brightening up I'm knocking in a frightening new bat with thick edges more reminiscent of a shinty caman and plotting the ruin of many a spinner!

RIP Phillip Hughes, the Australian cricketer who died today after being hit in the head by a bouncer during a Sheffield Shield match in Sydney on Tuesday.
