I just wanted to bring this up to the top once more for Ray, the gentleman for whom I converted his ebay hat. His sister Susan just emailed me that Ray had passed away this morning, his heart just gave out. She noted that he had enjoyed this site, along with the hat I have made him. Just wanted to pass this on and say, we will miss him. Regards, Fedora

thanks for bringing this out Fedora, I spoke to Ray yesterday and he told me the end was very near. I don't know if he got to see the Panama that was waiting for him at the P.O. I finished for him.
We say goodbye to a true gentleman and my friend.

Rascal, was his handle here. He was so excited to get a custom hat from Steve Delk and his Montecristi blocked by Art Fawcett. I only met him thru PM's here. He was a big fan of you two men...
