Check out the dude in the first clip at 1:40. Very dapper. By the way, I lived in Copenhagen three summers ago and it's amazing how little it has changed. I recognize almost everything in these clips especially the pretty blonde at the end of clip two.

By the way, I climbed that spiral church tower. Well, I climbed about a dozen steps before I crawled back down. Scary. And bicycles are just as popular today as they were then, and the young women still ride ones with picnic baskets.

Color footage from a 1937 MGM travelogue. Also a product of its time unfortunately as part of the narration describes the Danes as "having contributed much to the stability and progress of the white race."
