It always looks stylish to wear. My friend also ordered it but there is one problem associated with these shows.
It always make queaky noise when walking.
Is this is common and any solution?

You are correct. But that can easily be solved with a different pair of laces. The squeaky noise has more to do with with the laces than the actual shoe. I would reccommend experimenting with different laces.

That's a very nice boot and if I had lot more money than I actually do I would be quite interested in it.

The Dalton is a good-looking boot, although they aren't new per se and have been around a few years. I don't know how long the limited edition cordovan model has been around, so maybe it's newer. I only wish they made them in their all-natural rubber soles too because they would make a great fall/winter boot, but I prefer a rubber sole over leather if I'm constantly trudging through water and snow.

I would reccommend experimenting with different laces.

I've found that softer unwaxed or lightly waxed laces tend to solve most squeaking problems opposed to heavily waxed laces. I'm not sure what AE uses from the factory on these boots.

Edmunds uses a very stiff waxed lace which rubs against the leather thus causing a squeaking sound. As was posted above by Annixiter, a softer less waxed lace won't squeak. All I can say is try it. I will tell you that in my experience I tend to like the stiffer heavy waxed laces and find that over time they do squeak less, probably due to wear. The squeaking never really bothered be as I travel in very noisy areas. Try it and see what happens. I would be curious to see what your results are.

Another trick, is to just crumple up the laces over and over so that they loose their stiffness.

I ordered a pair of Daltons in walnut a couple of weeks ago. I am very pleased with them. I also ordered a pair of Long Branches in brown as a hiking/everyday boot.

I just received my Dalton's last week, and wore them over to La. for a funeral. As a pallbearer I found the extra ankle support nice. Mine are in the dark brown calf.

I just got an email that the Fifth Street model I ordered at the same time have shipped and should be here in a couple of days.

I was glad to finde these as I wear a very narrow shoe and they make these in a B width.

I've had these Codorvan Daltons for about 2 weeks now. They fit and feel like a dream! I have experienced no squeaking in these boots at all. The laces aren't stiff either, actually they're kind of soft yet feel like very good laces. I'd like to know how to polish them properly. I've read some articles to never use wax always cream, other articles say always use cream and never wax! This is my first pair of Cordovans and I want to take care of them right. Any advise on this would be very much appreciated. The Dalton's are great boots, I really like them!
