Aww, WifeyRobinson, that is extremely sweet.
Dressing up in general causes people to behave better when around us, since they still have that sense of "Act nicely when being in a presence of a lady"I have also noticed I get better service, more doors held for me, and more attention in general when I dress vintage.
Oh, yes.Owning no modern clothes I forget how much I standout.
Honestly my defi action of normal has changed seeing as Ive been living "stuck in the 50s" for awhile now lol I just enjoy my corner of happiness and sometimes it takes the odd look for metro realize..."oh maybe I should do this more lol" I think more people need to be shaken up a bit :eusa_clapDressing up in general causes people to behave better when around us, since they still have that sense of "Act nicely when being in a presence of a lady"
Oh, yes.
Wearing "old school" proper clothes that fits the situation apperantly makes you stand out. In the past, it just used to make you a normal person... but I guess "normality" has changed. [huh]
Add to that "Where's the costume-party?" and you've got the whole package. lolBut back at my hometown the comments are much different. "Where are you going?" "Why are you all dressed up?"
True. :nod:I'm actually kinda invisible when I wear skinny jeans and a T.
Haven't improved much in decades - and I doubt they ever will.. suppose they can't. Their mental ability reaches only that far. [huh]"hey fata**!" at her.
An "easy target", as they like to call it. There will always be people who "feed" on other's insecurities or moments of being exposed (like in your case). There's a word for those people, but I'm being rather polite, so I'll just say: I pity them. You're standing with your rear end directly facing oncoming traffic, which makes it a prize target for the knuckle-dragger crowd.
True.
That's one of the reasons why I no longer own such clothing items. Not that I desire being noticed, but the feeling of me wearing it; I feel.. transparent, I feel you can see through me. [huh]
Not necessarily.Nothing on earth is more invisible than a woman over fifty.
