Actually, the SEC sent a record 10 of their 12 teams to bowl games this year. Only Mississippi State and Vanderbilt stayed home.

Pretty good game (watched between snatches of "Beat the Devil"). I didn't know who to root for till the Texas QB got hurt. Then I rooted for them because they were instant underdogs. But a team includes its bench, and the best team won. Except maybe for Boise State.
