That is the nicest set of hats I have ever seen all at one time! You are the envy of many of us here especially knowing what it would cost to duplicate the set at today's prices.

I don't blame you for hanging it up, you won't do any better today.

Thank you, I agree it's a fine collection. I haven't seen anythign on Ebay in a long while that screams "gotta have that!" I may break down and get an Adventurebuilt from Me Fedora someday though. And I do have Art making me one of his custom specials.

Beautiful collection! There should be some way to display a few a time in the main part of the house like you would any fine art or collectables.
I'm going to look into that, space permitting. I only got 1450 SQ Feet to work with and a Girlfriend who thinks I gots too many! LOL :p

In fact, could I urge all of us Lounge Lizards to include photos of the linings when we strut our stuff. Sure, it's a bit like judging a book by its cover, but (for me, anyway) that flash of white silk and the endless variety of trade art (much of it "period") is a significant part of the overall hat-wearing experience.

And yes, it's a great collection, Dusty!

You bet, I shot the most interesting ones, espeically the MacLachlan with that Lumberjack shirt lining! Good stuff!

Now that is a collection of great looking hats. How long does it take to choose your hat for the day?? It looks to be a difficult task!

I go with what ever matches my pants and boots LOL I wear nice dress shirts with Dockers Mon - Thur and jeans on Friday. I'm a Procurement Analyst/SysAdmin guy so I'm either at my desk or down on the floor messing with a PC. I currently don't wear straws in the summer because the Humidity coupled with a leather sweatband would wreak havoc with skin issues on my forehead and face

Tough decision?¢‚Ǩ¬¶ Girl friend or Hats?¢‚Ǩ¬¶ LOL. Really, I am very happily married but my bride thinks I am a little nuts about the hats. ?¢‚Ǩ?ìObsession?¢‚Ǩ? was one of the words she used . She was laughing when she said that one. (Thank goddness)

Thank you so much for sharing this superb collection with us!

It's always exciting to get a visual education. By looking at your hats, I get a better idea of what "the best of the best" looks like.

Clearly, you have excellent taste. Congratulations!

I've gone through a lot of clunkers to get where I am today. My main goal is to really only hold onto what I will wear and you're looking at it.

great collection, I really love the Stratoliner, but I can't see it very well, I think for the monitor resolution. Could you send it to me, so I could see it by near!!:p
With compliments.

Dusty, are they all your hat size? How long did it take you to amass such a wonderful collection? Where did you find your hats? And PLEASE let us know when you are going to auction some of them off...KC
KC,
A few of them are 7 1/4 but I've stretched them out to fit me. The rest are 7 3/8 and I don't plan on selling off anymore in the forseeable future.
