Just A Little Longer
Staying fftopic: just a little longer. Yeah, Paisley, Griffith really was born to play that role, wasn't he? He grew up about a hundred miles south of here, in Mt. Airy, NC.
As far as the "redneck" thing goes, I've run into exactly one person who was really an @$$ to the point that we couldn't get along, and that person is in my own family (by marriage). Most people, when they learn of where I live, usually exclaim "oh what a beautiful place-everyone there is sooo friendly!" or they've never heard of it.
As for doing a party; I think you adjust your attitude to your age group; if it's a bunch of young people, they're probably gonna be more anti-redneck than you yourself are; if they're older, they'll probably be reminded of the goodtimes they had, when the world they lived and enjoyed, seems far away.
In any event, good taste and civility dictate everything, IMO. The whole thing looks like fun; the ones who don't like it, send 'em down to Wal Mart , or something
