For those of you who do not wear bows:
A gentleman does not wear clip-on ties and he does not admit to knowing anyone who does.
My guess would be that these were worn by someone who belonged to either the Lions or the Jaycees or both. He listened to Mantovani. He most likely sold used cars.
And the arm holes of his suits were very, very low.
