That's a nice color. Sage?

Thanks Bob! No, it is Resistol's version of "silverbelly" which has a good deal of sage in it. The lighting in these photos seems to accentuate the sage in the felt.That's a nice color. Sage?

Usually with a pinch as well, the non bound brim and the pinches help to give it a more casual or less formal look than a Hommie.Churchill Lord's Hat, I believe the model is a "Cromwell". Beautiful felt, smooth as the proverbial baby's behind. It has been my understanding that a homburg without a bound brim is considered a Lord's Hat. This is a new Sunday go to meetin' hat.

It has been suitably pinched...took it well. Nice felt.Usually with a pinch as well, the non bound brim and the pinches help to give it a more casual or less formal look than a Hommie.
I have a real strong attraction to both the Hommie and the Lord's hat......but I buy them more than I wear them!It has been suitably pinched...took it well. Nice felt.

@deadlyhandsome here's the thread
Thanks for the compliment. I did check the labels. All I could find was the size, model code and price $10.Hey guy: that’s a very nice hat. Check behind the sweatband (carefully), under the liner for paper tags. That might give you some info. Churchill did make mates for NM. See today’s WHAYWT thread for a very fine Churchill 50.
Welcome to the lounge. Look forward to your endeavors.
And, thats a nice hat!
Be well. Bowen
Churchill Dalworth "40" Open Road. Has a very soft finish/hand, almost sponge-like to touch. The color Palomino appears to be Silverbelly with Sage undertones. Very nice hat, I can't wait to wear it when the summer cools down.
