I saw the change in my short life. When I was 10, the school breaks were me playing tackle football on the street a couple blocks from home.
When my little sister was 10, the neighborhood streets were empty.
As for trips:
LA natives stay in LA, because we know it is the best time of year for LA. Good weather, no traffic and everyone we don't like are off somewhere else.
