Better to buy it from crush on retro. Because you can exchange size if it's not fit or just return. However this is same jacket

Its about $200 and you can use agents like superbuy to buy it and expect around $50 for shipping
Overall $100 savings cons you can't return or exchange

I just bought a real McCoy J-24 new fit leather jacket. I want to get a mouton collar, but can’t justify spending £400+ on a new one.

Any Chinese manufacturers which you would recommend, that would fit my jacket?

Hello from Germany,

After joining the Fedora Lounge and reading this whole thread i ordered this Cowhide Jacket from AliExpress in 3XL. Veluokldly.
Overall great Jacket for the price IMO but too big for me. So ist sent it back via AE Retoure Label. I hope this will work and i will get my money back soon.
I already ordered the same Jacket in 2XL from another AE seller, but the burghundy Horsehide Version, since the Black Cowhide 2XL is already sold out.
I am excided and will Post when it will arrive.

BTW i am 186cm, 79kg.

i have also bought this brand, but i do not like their horse quality

Thank you all for sharing this info; you have me interested in purchasing a Chinese Buco J-24 horsehide repro, like many of you have shared. Can anyone suggest ways of accessing the Taobao website or app from the US, so that it's in English? It seems as this is the best way to purchase but I can't get the site to translate , even when I follow the instructions on google. It's tough to decide which brand to go with ( Crush on Retro, Tailor Brando, Real Simons, Cidu). From what I've read, Real Simons seems like the best quality but the others are almost as good for a decently less price.

i recommand Real Simons, google it, it can also be bought out of China

最近中国品牌似乎有点儿风云变幻，至少在西方市场是这样。几年前，Cidu 似乎是领头羊，Curphey 紧随其后，其他品牌则屈居其次。有一段时间，我有很多想尝试的款式，但始终没下定决心。后来，那些心仪的款式开始逐渐消失，我心想不如试试看。我真正想要的款式已经售罄，不过黑色马皮的 Switchyard 看起来不错。我尝试订购了三次。第一家试图说服我搞不清楚自己的尺码，并想给我寄另一件。我解释说我研究过中国的尺码，而且对皮夹克很熟悉。他们最终承认确实没有那个尺码了。第二家至少在我下单后很快就承认我的尺码缺货（两家都显示库存充足，但实际上并没有）。第三家给我寄了一件夹克。当包裹送到，我用两根手指托着它时，我就知道这次肯定要失望了。那是一件黑色的轻便夹克，带有Veloukldly的标签。皮革很薄，轻如鸿毛，柔软得像老鼠皮，纹理处理得非常粗糙。它放在商场女装区，应该算是价格不菲的高档夹克。有趣的是，我仔细看过很多细节图片，几乎可以肯定它和Cidu出自同一家工厂，只是皮革和内衬不同。我指出卖家发错了货，这绝对不是任何品牌的马皮，很可能是低端牛皮（也可能是羊皮）。卖家立刻变得粗鲁无礼，说我对皮革一窍不通等等。当我把夹克、标签和内衬的照片，以及其他网站上出售的同款Veloukldly（牛皮款售价约170美元，而Cidu马皮款售价370美元）的照片发给他后，他的态度立刻转变，只发给我一个字的信息：退货。
