So, I'm watching the stage performance live for the celebrations on Chinese state TV. It's interesting.
The main thing that strikes me is how accurately all the uniforms are portrayed; German helmets for the period up to 1938, and the three colors of uniforms up to 1940, then the switch to British and US uniforms (complete with helmets).
The prop department really did it's stuff well. I would love to know which Chinese companies are making all these uniform repros.
