I couldn't get through all the pictures (up to about 25) because they were taking too long to load on my fidgety work computer. I'd say 6 and 17 were my favorites. All are excellent! Thanks for the link! :eusa_clap

Alright, got through the rest now that I'm home. Wow! There were some really good pics that I'd missed. I have to add a few more favorites to my list:
70, 66 and 58.

Take a look at 58: does that not just speak volumes? Really nice pics!

These photographs are of great quality! I always enjoy browsing through these old pictures, as it let's me know how life must have been in a now-distant era. It is amazing indeed at what a contrast the United States of 2010 stands when compared to that of 1939 to 1943.

Library Of Congress releases color photos of the Great Depression

The Library of Congress recently released over 1,600 color photos taken during the final years of the Great Depression. Funded by the Farm Security Administration and the Office of War Information, the pictures were taken by several famous photographers, including Jack Delano, Russell Lee and Marjory Collins. With their unique, vibrant look at the past, they offer a fresh perspective on one of the darkest periods in American history.
